Temple 24, Georgia Tech 2

Temple returned a fumble 74 yards for a touchdown and added a 65-yard interception return as Georgia Tech’s inconsistency dropped the Jackets to 1-2 on head coach Geoff Collins return to his last job.

Tech had one more first down and was only outgained by 17 yards on one less play, but suffered costly and painful turnovers.

QBs James Graham and Tobias Oliver teamed for a 14-of-35 day and 174 yards passing, Oliver leading the Jackets with 68 yards on 11 carries, but he fumbled twice.

His fumbles and Graham’s interception all came inside Temple’s 35.
