Mercer wins fifth straight, ends losing streak at ETSU
ETSU was on the verge of a top-25 ranking, and had beaten Mercer 10 straight times, the last time by 19 points almost a year ago.
The Bears (11-11/5-4) erased those memories with a convincing 71-55 win at Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City, ending the Bucs’ 12-game home winning streak.
Djordje Dimitrijevic led the way with 18 points against the SoCon leaders (18-4/7-2), who are fourth in the College Insider Mid-Major poll.
Mercer hosts The Citadel on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., with are educator admitted free with a ticket.
