Fullington 10, Windsor 3

Howard 12, Westside 1

          The Huskies took control with a 7-0 lead after two, aided by a six-error game from the Seminoles. Christian Arnett had three hits and two RBI, while Justin Smith and Lee Martin added two hits each and teamed for five RBI. Andrew Garnett got the win.

Jones County 16, Woodland 5

          The Greyhounds rolled to the region win behind a 2-for-4 game from C.J. Whitehead and Trent Hardy, who had two hits and three RBI each. Garrett Baughman drove in two runs.

Lee County 10, Upson-Lee 3

          Brooks Gulley had two of the Knights’ seven hits, and Ben McDaniel drove in two runs.

Monticello 10, Baldwin 1

          A five-run second was plenty for Monticello, which took advantage of five errors. Mac Barton and Graeme Williams went 3-for-4 for Monticello, Williams with three RBI and two runs, while Trent Maddox, Tyler Wages and Cole Hays added two hits each. Maddox and Wages drove in two runs apiece. Justyn Fields went six innings for the win. Ke’shaun Kinslow had two hits for Baldwin.

Northside 11, Warner Robins 9

          Northside’s four-run first was countered by Warner Robins’ four-run sixth, which was then answered by the Eagles’ five-run fifth. The Demons added drama with two in the seventh, and left two on. Three runs were unearned, thanks to four Warner Robins errors. Tyler Smith had three hits and two runs for Northside, while Levi Walker, Tyler Wilson, and Mitchell Upshaw each had two hits and two RBI. Wilson went 3.1 innings as the Eagles’ fourth pitcher of five to get the win.

Perry 4, Rutland 1

          The Panthers played good small-ball, with four one-run innings on 10 hits. Tanner Knowles went 3-for-4 with three runs from leadoff, and Carson Bryant had two hits from the eighth spot. Lane Rucker drove in two runs and went the first 3.2 innings, Bryant finishing and striking out seven with no walks. Connor Wood had two hits for Rutland.

Pike County 10, Peach County 0

          The Trojans were no-hit.
