Softballer is Georgia College’s valedictorian
Rebecca Lawrence, owner of a 4.0 in political science and plans to go to Mercer’s law school, is a valedictorian for Georgia College this spring.
The school will hold a
Lawrence, from Vidalia, has a 3.59 ERA in 183.1 innings and 54 games. She had made the Peach Belt’s all-academic team twice and is a two-time conference Gold Scholar.
She joins six other athletes as a valedictorian: Sarah Wilder in 2019, Hannah Coursey in 2018, Ally Barys in 2016, and Shanteona Keys and Kayla Upchurch in 2015.
Signings
Northside’s Jacob Catey has signed to play baseball at Toccoa Falls College.
