Henley rebounds into contention  at BMW Championship

          The Olympia Fields course took from Russell Henley on Thursday, and he took some back on Friday.

          Henley improved by five shots and moved into a tie for 13th after two rounds of the BMW Championship.

          Only four players are even or better, with Patrick Cantlay and Rory McIlroy tied at 1 under 139.

          Henley is still three over, but only four shots back. Nearly 30 players are within five of the lead.

          His day started with a bogey, but two birdies followed a few holes later. And his day ended with a bogey, two holes after a birdie.

Dooly County plans its restart

          Less than two weeks after putting fall sports on hold, Dooly County is ready to get going again.

          The school announced Friday that football practice will resume on Monday, with the first game on Sept. 25. Softball, however, remains canceled.
