Some hiccups for Henley in opening round

Things went pretty well for Russell Henley early on in the BMW Championship, starting off with a birdie and then eight straight pars and another birdie.

          Then, boom.

A bogey, and then two double bogeys on three holes turned Henley from a contender to a hopeful, his 74 putting him in a tie for 46th, but still ahead of Harris English, Collin Morikawa, and Sungjae Im, among others.

Hideki Matsuyama’s 67 was good enough for a one-shot lead over Tyler Duncan.
