ACE got all it needed in a two-run first. Dixieana Sims fanned seven with a walk in five innings, allowing four hits. Regan Foster had three hits and Destiny Lucas two while Mollie Bolton belted a grand slam.

Eagle’s Landing 9, ACE 4
A five-run fourth broke a 3-3 tie and doomed ACE, which had four errors. Destiny Lucas had two hits for ACE.
Mount de Sales 3, Oconee County 2
The Cavs held on among a slight flurry of scoring late, both teams scoring a run in the sixth.Sarah Hatcher and Isabel Blackwell had two hits each, Hatcher with two RBI, for MdS.
Stratford 4, ELCA 1
Two-run innings in the third and sixth innings were enough for Stratford, which won despite three errors. Taylor Justice had two hits and Abby Griffin two RBI for Stratford, boosted by an 11-strikeout effort from Kenna McElmurray.
Westfield 13, Fellowship Christian 3
A 15-hit, five-inning game made it easy for Sydney Langdon, who struck out 11 with no walks in the four-hitter. Marena Knowles had a double and homer with six RBI. Sadie Hayes and Ellie Williams had three hits and two RBI each, Carliegh Knowles and Brooke Corlee adding two hits apiece.
West Laurens 10, Mount de Sales 5
Camryn Stokes gave the Raiders three hits and two RBI from the bottom of the lineup, Hudson Smith and Caroline Pollock with two hits and two RBI each. Sawyer Stuart, Sarah Hatcher, and Emma Carter had two hits each for MdS, which outhit West Laurens by three. Both left nine runners on.

The Eagles were without 33 players for various reasons, including Houston County’s Darion Anderson, Peach County’s Justin Harris, and Howard’s Gabriel Howard. Reasons reportedly ranged from COVID to suspension to injury to coach’s decision.
On the early week depth chart, Anderson was listed as a starter at WR and Harris third at another WR spot.
Sophomore Java’n Singletary of Veterans got the start at safety, and Northside’s Caleb Kelly got snaps on the offensive line.

Washington County’s Djimon Brooks, finally awarded a scholarship last month, recovered a fumble with 3:50 left in the game that almost sealed it.
Kicker Jude Kelley had two field goals and a PAT blocked, but drilled a 32-yard field goal field goal with 1:50 left to win it.
Tobias Oliver (Northside) didn’t play.
Quez Jackson (Peach County) got his first career interception in the second quarter and led Tech with nine tackles. Brooks had three tackle and a pass breakup.
