Lexington County at Macon, cancelled
Saturdayās doubleheader ā and thus, fireworks show ā was canceled, ending the Baconās season at 17-27, sixth out of eight teams in the Coastal Plain West Division.
Of players who were in at least 15 (one game short of a third) of Maconās games, Carter McCulley led Macon with a .381 average, followed by Billy Ham at .368 and Brady DeLamielleure at .297 and DanSchaegel and Levi Ham at .296.
McCulley, and the Hams led with 3 homers, and Levi Ham with 24 RBI.
Houston County grad and Mercer pitcher Kai Decker went 1-2 with a save, and a team-best 2.08 ERA, 46 strikeouts and 16 walks in only 30.1 innings.
Eli Stephens (Houston County/Mercer) hit .236 in 24 games with 2 homers and 14 RBI.
FPD grad Hayes Bryant went 1-1 with a 6.07 ERA in 13.1 innings.
