Henley rebounds at Sony
The wind wasn’t a problem for Russell Henley on Saturday at the Sony Open, the Maconite jumping up 27 spots and right back into the fringe of contention.
Henley lost eight shots on Friday, but got six of them back with a 67 on Saturday for a three-round 205, 5 under for the weekend.
That pulled him into a tie for 20th, seven back of sole leader Davis Riley.
It wasn’t the smoothest of round for Henley, who had three bogeys and four birdies on the front nine before a sharper 2-under back nine.
He finished with four bogeys and seven birdies, more than reversing a rugged Friday of a double, four bogeys and three birdies.
