Henley rallies after rough start at Cadillac
After four holes, Russell Henley was in an 2-over hole in the second round of the Cadillac Championship.
Things got better.
Henley avoided bogeys the rest of the day and finished with his fourth birdie of the day for a 2-under 70 and rise on the leaderboard.
Henley will tee off at 11:05 a.m. on Saturday tied for 26th, with Max Homa, Lucas Glover, Akshay Bhatia, and Min Woo Lee, among others.
The Maconite bogeyed Nos. 2 and 4, hitting a rough on both tee shots. He settled down with three pars before a birdie on 8, despite finding another rough and getting a drop, nailing a 14-footer for birdie.
He went from 119 yards to 4 feet to set up the birdie on 10, and added one on 16 and 18.
