Fromm, Baylor’s Aranda newcomers to the Macon Touchdown Club speaker list
Baylor head coach Dave Aranda and former Houston County and Georgia quarterback standout Jake From headline the list of Macon Touchdown Club speakers this fall.
GMC JC head coach Rob Manchester returns as another Central Georgia representative.
The first meeting is Sept. 14, with GHSA rules trainer Rick Boedy.
Former UGA punter Drew Butler is on Sept. 21, followed by former Alabama and NFL safety and current Georgia Tech assistant Vinnie Suneri.
Aranda comes in on Oct. 5, followed by Dari Nowkhah of the SEC Network and then Georgia Southern’s Clay Helton on Oct. 19, and ESPN/SECN and former Gator Chris Doering on Oct. 26.
Manchester gets November going on Nov. 2, with podcaster Jake Crain and then Fromm on Nov. 16. Auburn recruiting heads Harding Harper III and Jeris McIntyre visit on Nov. 23, with the club still narrowing down a speaker for Nov. 30.
Gryphon duo tapped for Macon TD Club honors
A pair of ACE Charter players earned Macon Touchdown Club top player honors for Aug. 28.
Quarterback Ace Hatcher completed 17 passes for 221 yards and 2 touchdowns, adding 82 rushing yards and a score, for 303 yards total offense in the 23-20 comeback win over Washington County.
Junior safety Jack Perry covered the field fo 22 tacklesm, a sack, forced fumble, and interception. He was perfect on two PAT kicks and had a 25-yard field goal in the win over Washington County.
