A five-run fourth inning put Lexington County in control at Macon’s home opener.
Levi Ham had three hits, and Josiah Rodriguez and Elias Fiddler had two hits each for Macon, now 0-3.
Macon has several players with Central Georgia connections, according to the roster listed on the league website: P Carson Bryant, Perry; C Eli Stephens, Houston County/Mercer; P Hayes Bryant, FPD; P Zach Murphy, Mercer; P Ethan Gill, Middle Georgia state; and P Christian Donaldson, Georgia College.
The roster on the team website is different, and doesn’t list hometowns: P/IF Kai Decker, Mercer; P Carter Oglageo, Middle Georgia State.
Macon is at Lexington County, and returns home Tuesday and Wednesday against Greenville and Florence.

Henley not as sharp, still in top 10
A couple early bogeys didn’t derail the third round for Russell Henley, who steadied his way to a 1-over day and stay in contention at The Memorial.
Henley is tied for 10th, seven back of leader Scottie Scheffler.
He struggled on the green on No. 2 and No. 4, then got on a good run with consecutive birdies among nine pars.
A bogey on 16 broke that run when he missed a normal gimme of five feet..
Henley again mastered the par 5s, with three pars and a birdie, his bogeys comeing on two par 3s and a par 4.
Fifteen of the top two dozen players shot par or higher on Saturday.
Henley is paired with Maverick McNealy, the duo teeing off at 1:10 p.m.
