Henley hits mild slump, hangs tough
Russell Henley’s 60-hole streak of bogey-free golf came to an end on Saturday.
Henley lost three spots on the leaderboard at The American Express and enters the final round tied for 15th and six shots back of leader Si Woo Kim.
The Maconite rolled to a 4-under front nine, only to hit a run of three bogeys in five holes on the back nine, sandwiched by a pair of birdies.
That gave him a 3-under round and 16-under tournament.
