GMC JC takes fourth in national golf tourney
Led by top-10 finishes from Riley Campbell and Hayen Hardy, GMC JC finished fourth in the national junior college golf tournament.
Campbell was 8 over to tie for fifth and Hardy 9 over to take eighth.
The Bulldogs were 51 over, 47 behind perennial power Sandhills, which was followed by Delta (Michigan) and DuPage.
Henley treads water
Russell Henley picked up a few spots on the leaderboard with a routine third round of the Memorial.
He shot a 1-under 71 to slide up to a tie for 32nd and is 3 over for the tournament.
Henley bogeyed No. 2, and then birdies No. 9 and 15.
