          Here we go again. A year ago, the Raiders were a surprising 4-0, and got humbled at home by Harlem 28-7. The 4-0 this year is no surprise. But the Raiders, as fast as they are, will have to expand the passing game.

          Three straight years, the teams have entered the game with similar records, usually a sign of teams that are fairly even and ready for a fairly close game. Can ACE defend the now-passing and more multiple Raiders, and throw the ball with enough success, and avoid brutal early turnovers? Could Northeast be better than last year?

AA Brentwood, 5-0, at John Milledge, 3-1
          A battle of the Villes, Sanders vs. Milledge. JMA is increasingly looking like the JMA we’ve know the last several years. And Brentwood has some swag going. This is a game to go watch if you’re in that area and looking for one. The Trojans are more balanced on offense, which makes for a slight difference.

Brookstone, 5-0, at Stratford, 4-0
          Welcome to a semifinal or championship game in mid September. Brookstone is 1-0 so far in such games, beating FPD 31-22 two weeks ago. That makes the Cougars a little better prepared for what this game should be like.
