Games of Note
Perry, 5-4/4-1, at Warner Robins, 5-4/3-2
Warner Robins is playing for its playoff life, but intensity โ really, is intensity ever much of an issue? โ isnโt as relevant as execution, and the Demons arenโt executing with any consistency. Perry, on the other hand, pretty much is.
TSR pick: Perry by 15
No. 2 Peach County, 9-0/6-0, at No. 3 Troup, 9-0-/6-0
If youโre anywhere near this game โฆ Theyโve had only a three legit four-quarter games between them, so, yes, some conditioning in the fourth quarter can be an issue, and that makes execution an issue. Itโs simple analysis: fewer driving-stalling penalties and more execution of the simple stuff, especially down the stretch.
TSR pick: Peach County by 9
Dodge County, 4-5/2-3, at ACE Charter, 5-4/1-4
Life was sure different for both a month ago, but this is a chance for some momentum entering the playoffs. The Gryphons have to get the passing game going, the Indians have to come out hot after last weekโs thumping or they may get in a hole early.
TSR pick: ACE Charter by 3
No. 5 St. Anne-Pacelli, 6-4, at No. 4 FPD, 6-4
The Vikings have more momentum and are healthier. Being at home should be a big boost, even if its wasnโt in the season opener, an ugly 22-21 loss.
